Prof. Tuininga, The Puritan Conquest of America's First People. The Puritans came to America to establish the kingdom of Christ and save native souls from darkness. But while many Indians became Christians, colonialism devolved into a brutal tragedy of conquest, enslavement, and racism. Prof. Tuininga will speak about his forthcoming book, The Wars of the Lord: The Puritan Conquest of America's First People, which describes how this happened.
