Campus Life at
Calvin Theological Seminary
Life at Calvin Seminary
Our campus life is thriving because of students just like you, bringing their passions, backgrounds, and interests together to create intentional community as they prepare for a life of ministry.
A Community of Faith
Opportunities to Learn and Grow
Student clubs and publications vary from year to year based on interest, but offerings tend to fall under the following categories:
Faith and Ministry Formation
Justice and Service
Writing and Publication
Caring and Tight-Knit Community
Connect with students, faculty, and staff at regular activities and events throughout the year. Each fall, the year starts off with a Seminary-wide picnic dinner for the entire community, including families. It ends with a graduation breakfast for seniors. In between, here are just a few of the ways we cultivate community:
- Donut and fellowship time after Wednesday chapel
- Town hall gatherings with free pizza provided
- Regular potlucks for seminary students and families, including international-themed dinners
- Christmas around the world dinner
- Die Natalis, a birthday party for Calvin Seminary
- Annual table tennis tournament
