Serving our communities with humility and grace
The bi-annual Loving Your Neighbor Conference connects church leaders with significant thought-leaders to discuss how churches and Christian organizations can better minister to and serve traditionally neglected and overlooked communities. Started in 2016, The Loving Your Neighbor Conference has brought together church leaders and member to discuss the church's relationship with Muslims (2016) and how to best serve and minister to immigrant, refugee, and migrant communities (2018). The 2020 conference (July 6-8) will explore how churches can best serve members of their community who are either in or affected by incarceration, and how to support those who are transitioning to live after prison.
Forming Citizens of God's Kingdom in Prison and Upon Reentry
July 6 - 8, 2020
Make plans to join us from Monday, July 6 through Wednesday, July 8 for the 2020 Loving Your Neighbor Conference. This year's theme "Forming Citizens of God's Kingdom in Prison and Upon Reentry" will provide attendees both a framework and practical ideas on how to best serve those who are incarcerated or who have someone they know who is. How can the church serve this brother or sister in Christ while they are in prison, and how can the body of Christ help with reentry into life outside of prison?
