Seminary Admissions Counselor

The Seminary Admissions Counselor is responsible for guiding prospective seminary students through their application, admission, and seminary discernment process. Activities include direct student recruitment, community outreach, communications and marketing support, and some travel. The counselor reports to the Director of Admissions and also works closely with the Director of Communications. A copy of the complete job description can be found here. Given the teaching responsibilities in the PhD program, applicants for either faculty position will need to have a PhD.

We also anticipate openings (full-time or adjunct or affiliate faculty) in the following areas or combinations:

  • New Testament
  • Philosophical Theology
  • Preaching/Communication
  • Latino/na Ministry Program Leadership


We want faculty members who engage students, the church, and the wider culture through teaching, mentoring, preaching and scholarship.

We especially encourage applications from women and members of ethnic minority groups and would welcome applications and nominations for these positions as well.

Tenure track faculty members are asked to be committed to the confessions and mission of the Christian Reformed Church in North America.
