Research Standards
The standard for writing and documentation for formal course papers, major research papers and theses is the faculty's document entitled Standards for Theses, Major Research Papers, and Class Papers. This document is distributed annually to new students and is available from the vice president for academic affairs.
It is the prerogative of a professor to permit a different format for less formal presentations or for projects not specifically covered in the above document.
The vice president for academic affairs schedules orientation sessions regarding research and writing standards for all students. All students are required to attend at least one of these sessions.
