Personal Computers

Calvin Theological Seminary does not permit the use of personal computers in writing examinations, tests, or quizzes, except for "take-home exams."

Grounds:

  1. To allow those who have this technology the use of it creates inequity for those who do not have it.
  2. The temptation to access information that is stored will be eliminated by this policy.
  3. Although a number of other seminaries that were contacted do not have a policy on this matter, most that do have a policy do not permit use of personal computers in examinations, tests, and quizzes.
