Commencement
The academic year is concluded by the commencement exercises held in May. On this occasion degrees are awarded and an address is delivered by the seminary president or a prominent public speaker. The general public, and in particular the relatives and friends of the graduates, are invited to attend.
Graduation procedures permit a small number of incompletes at the time of commencement. No diplomas are given at commencement because third quarter course work is not yet graded and reported by that time. Diplomas are distributed as soon as all work required for the degree has been completed and duly recorded, and all monies are paid.
