John Calvin:
"God has let us into the world on the condition that we should consider wherein we may be able to help such as have need of us."
"God has joined us together and united us in one body, because God wants us to employ ourselves for our neighbors, so that we are not addicted to our own selves but serve all in common."
God has let you into this world on a condition: that you serve God by serving your brothers and sisters in Christ. You belong in this world-God placed you here. You belong to your brothers and sisters in Christ-God made space for you among them. And most importantly, you belong to God. And that God is calling you! Discerning the what and how and where and when and with whom of God's call will challenge you and grow you.
As the pastor for discernment at Calvin Theological Seminary, I am available to help you listen to Godīs voice wherever and however and through whomever it is that he might be speaking to you. I also invite you to explore the resources listed below.
