International Calvin Congress July 25-28, and special evening events open to all!
There are two evening events during the conference that you are welcome to attend free of charge – bring your families and neighbors too!
“Psalms of Exile, Psalms of Hope” – Community Psalmfest on Tuesday, July 25, at 7:30 PM in the Seminary chapel – join singers and musicians from around the world in singing Psalms, from Genevan Psalter settings to modern arrangements. The program will last about one hour and refreshments will be available following our time of singing.
On Wednesday, July 26 at 7:30 PM, witness a riveting enacted retelling of John Calvin’s life by local pastor and dramatist Stan Sturing. Get ready to be transported back in time as Calvin bids farewell to his fellow pastors in May 1564 and looks back over his life. This performance in the Calvin Theological Seminary Chapel is free and open to all (repeated on Thursday 7/27 and Friday 7/28 at 7:30 PM and Saturday 7/30 at 2:30 PM, each time in the Seminary chapel.) The program will last an hour and forty minutes.
