General Information

Commencement Ceremony

For the class of 2006, it is here: the day where we celebrate God's work in the hearts, minds, and lives of our students during their seminary career, and send them on to the next leg of their journey. We pray that on commencement day and beyond, our class of 2006 will know the strong grace of God in their lives, ministries and further studies.

The Ceremony

Commencement Exerices will take place at 11:00 a.m. in the Calvin College Fine Arts Auditorium. Please note that there is handicapped accessible seating available in the Fina Arts Center Auditorium. There are no tickets required for commencement.

Emeritus

The seminary community is preparing to say goodbye to our Director of Admissions and Registrar, John Vander Lugt. John has served the Calvin Theological Seminary community in this role since 1977. During commencement the title of Director of Admissions and Registrar, Emeritus will be conferred upon him. We wish John every blessing for the future!

We are proud to celebrate the history of Calvin Theological Seminary with annual class reunions. This year, we welcome the class of 1956. These men have spent fifty years in ministry - including parish ministry, world or home missions, chaplaincy, counseling, teaching and administration. It is an honor to welcome them to our commencement weekend!
