Comprehensive Exams - M.T.S.
Comprehensive exams: M.T.S. students must sustain the following comprehensive examinations:
For M.T.S. students at Calvin Theological Seminary, the requirements for demonstrating competence in both Hebrew and Greek can be met in one of three ways:
- by successfully sustaining the language comprehensive examinations;
- by successfully completing course OT 158, The Art of Hebrew Narrative, and/or NT 244, Intermediate Greek Reading of the New Testament, with a grade of B+ or better; or, as a third and new option,
- by successfully completing a three-day intensive seminar focusing on an introduction to the essentials of biblical Hebrew and New Testament Greek for exegesis and the LOGOS (LIBRONIX) program.
