Michigan Driver License
In order to apply for a Michigan Driver License you can go to the Department of State web site at http://www.michigan.gov/sos.
After you log in on the left side click on:
Driver License + State ID
then on the left side click on:
Your First Michigan Driver License
then on the left side click on:
Apply for License (Over 18).
Here you will find the requirements and regulations to get a Michigan Driver License.
Translation of Your Present Driver License:
Your present driver license may be accepted as an identity document when applying for a Michigan Driver License. However, if the information on your present driver license is not in English you must provide an English translation.
Please have another person from your country translate what is on the driver license from your country and bring both this license and the translation to the Office of the Dean of Students and International Student Advisor's office. We will put the English translation of your driver license in a letter on Calvin Seminary letterhead.
