We have 23 full-time faculty in residence and 7 adjunct faculty. -
Is CTS an accredited school? (show | hide)
Calvin Theological Seminary holds accredited membership in the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada (ATS). The ATS establishes the standards of theological education and maintains a list of those institutions accredited on the basis of such standards. The corporate office of the ATS is in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Calvin Seminary is affiliated with several organizations related to theological education:

CTS is the official seminary for the Christian Reformed Church in North America. All education at CTS is grounded in scripture and unified in a Reformed theological perspective. There are over 30 denominations represented at CTS, comprising 40% of the student body. Around 20% of our student population is from countries other than the USA.

When do the four academic quarters begin and end? (show | hide)
We work in quarters:- Fall quarter: September-November
- Winter quarter: December-February
- Spring quarter: March-May
- Summer quarter: One-week and two-week sessions

Can I study online at CTS? (show | hide)
We currently offer one online program: MA: New Church Development. We also offer various courses online, including a self-paced Biblical Hebrew course, which is available for academic, or continuing education credit. -
What housing options does the seminary offer? (show | hide)
We own a number of properties for students to rent. -
What kinds of facilities are available to students on campus? (show | hide)
On the seminary campus, students have access to a computer lab, student center with kitchen facilities, and recreation area. We share the world-class Hekman Library with Calvin College. CTS students also have access to Calvin College amenities: gym, pool, and weight room, café and dining hall and ATM. Calvin also offers discounts for students on tickets for many events and concerts. -
