"It is a privilege and joy to serve the Lord, the Christian Reformed Church, and the church around the world in academic administration at Calvin Theological Seminary. The diversity of people with a variety of gifts and a shared commitment to Jesus Christ make it a challenging, invigorating place to work. There is a lot of activity in my office at the seminary, but there is always time for you, the student. From the time we receive your application to the completion of your academic transcript, we hope you will feel that you have been served well. If we ever disappoint you, please give us another opportunity to do better. We pray daily for the wisdom, patience, and pastoral sensitivity to help you become all you can be in fulfilling your calling in our Lord's service."
John Vander Lugt enjoys spending time with his two grandsons and hiking, especially in the American West.
