Rev. Greg Janke
Director of Admissions
B.A. (Calvin College, 1988)
M.Div (Calvin Theological Seminary, 1994)
As the son of a Christian Reformed pastor, Greg was no stranger to church and ministry; but he wrestled with his own call to ministry. Providentially, God brought people into Greg's life at different times to encourage and affirm God's call on his life. Now, as a pastor, Greg has enjoyed the privilege of serving in this role in the lives of other people. As Director of Admissions, he is excited to help potential students discern their own call to ministry and looks forward to guiding them through the admission process. Greg says this about how his ministry has prepared him for this position:
"Serving two congregations has provided me with a wide range of ministry experience and convinced me of the necessity for ministers to be well-trained and well-prepared. The challenges which ministry leaders must face in the increasingly postmodern context we find ourselves necessitates that we should be as prepared and trained as possible. I have certainly benefited from the training I received, and look forward to helping future leaders be as well prepared as they can be for the important work of serving God in the world."
Greg is married to Kim and they have three children. His hobbies include golf, volleyball, biking, gardening and cooking.
